MASTERTOJN HORSE SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., held a special horse sale at Maeterton on Saturday, when abcut forty draughts and thirty hacks and harness horses were submitted. There was a large attendance, including buyers from Wellington, Palmorston, and all parts of the district. Draughts were in good demand, and praotically all were sold. There was alsoa good inquiry for cheap hack and" harness horses. Best broken draughts sold from £42 to £SO, others from £3O, un broken 3 year geldings and fillies £29 to £45, 2-year-olds £2O to £25, trap horses to £ls 30b, half draughts £ls to £2O 10b, light harness horses £7 10s to £l3 ss, good hacks to £l4, medium £7 to £lO 15s, aged hacKs from £2.
