PERRY'S PICTURES.
Major Perry, who accompanied the Duke and Duouess of York throughout the colony, taking kiueraatograph pictures for the New Zealand Government, will visit Masterton at the end of the present week with hie company of 28 performers, comprising a complete brass band and orchestra. The pictures are the very latest, and are reproduced by the test electric biograph procurable, the electric lighting being generated by a large compound dynamo. In order to attain a high voltage the Uompany are bringing with them their high pressure triple cylinder engine, of 15 horae-power. The sheet on whioh the piotures are exhibited is 30 feet square, and with their great power of oleo'-rio light, a very fine reproduction is secured. The Oomoany will open their season in Masterton on Saturday, Acgust 11th, and will continue frill the following Tuesday night. The box plan is open at Messrs MoLeod and Young, stationers, Queen Street.
