Reoeived July 31, 8.30 a.m. LONDON; July 30. King Edward, in inupecting and farewelling the thirl batialion of the Scots Guards, which has been dispensed with nnder the new Army Boheme, regretted that it would shortly be disbanded. His Majesty said he never saw a finer body of men, and he promised to preserve the colours at Buckingham Palaoe. His Majesty hoped that he or his successors would see a third battalion oarry arms again.
