LONDON WOOL SALES. JULY SEKIES. Dalgety and Company, Limited, "Wellington, have received tbe following cable from their London office dated the 20th iustaut'. : Wool sales closed dull. Good Merino wools, greaa.v, prices are on the average 5 per cent higher than closing rates of last series. Inferior, faulty aud earthy wool?, greasy, prices are lower by 7K to 10 per cent. Scoured inferior and faulty wools, 15 to 20 per cent lower. Fine and medium crossbred, .greasy wools, lower by 5 per cen*. Coarse crossbred, prices are on tbe average at par to 5 per cent lower than closiug rates of last series. Sliced scoured crossbred wools, lovier by 10 to 15 per cent. The total number of bales available, including old stocks, were 118,000. Out of the net quantity available for sale, some 59,000 bales have been aold for Home consumption, 36,000 bales for the Continent, 4000 bales lor America leaving 1.J,000 bales to be oarried forward to the next aeries. Prices for leather are higher by M<3 H* Per lb. Hides—market firm; nothing offered.
