IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SHOWGROUNDS.

RECOMMENDATIONS OP THE GROUND COMMITTEE. At the meeting on Saturday of the General Committee of the Masterton A: and P. Association, the following recommendations dealing with improvements to the Association's Showgrounds were received from the Ground Committee:—(l) That the produce shed ba extended along the fenoe facing Dixon Street as occasion demands; (2) that the boarded fence on the eastern side of tbe grounds be shifted two and threequarter chains further east, and that the horse gate in Herbert Street be erected near the present looseboxes; (3) that the implement stand be removed from the present position to a noint between the sheepyards and looseboxes. The recommendations were adopted.
