MASTERTON GASWORKS.
THE NEW GASHOLDER
The committee appointed by the Masterton Borough Council to consider the tendeis received for the supply of a gasholder met last evening. There were present—Ors Feist (ahairman), Pauling, ftwiugton, and Temple, and Mr J. W. Blackman, manager of the Masterton Gasworks, The tenders were carefully considered, aud it was decided to recommend the acceptance of the tender of the Burrowfield Iron Company, Glasgow, for the supply of a teleseopio holder and steel tank with a oapaoity of 100,000 oubio feet. The total oost of the bolder when erected in Masterton will be about £3,000. It was decided to recommend tbe Council that the balanoe of the money required, over and above the amount set down on tho loan schedule, be provided out of the Revenue Aooount,
