ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
NEW PLYMOUTH, July 2. Charles Turner, farmer, aged 35 years, was received into the Hospital on Saturday suffering from injuries received from a kick by a horse, which he was grooming. He sustained a complete fracture of the bowels, and died at midday on Monday. He has left a widow and one child. DUNEDIN, July 2. Robert Johnson, 58 years of age, lost his lite at Muddy Creek, Lauder, by his hut taking fire. Hia remains were found among the debris of the hat. Complete identification was rendered impossible, the body being too charred. A woman named Clara Hinds, who had been employed at the Church Mission Home, died in the Hospital to-day. On April 25th j she was boiling some beeswax and turpentine,when the material blazed up and her "clothes caught fire. She was badly burned beforo the clothes were torn off, aud had been, in the Hospital ever since,
