NIGERIA.
STUBBORN FIGHTING. CAPTAIN WAYLING WOUNDED, THIRTEEN CASUALTIES. Received June 29, 10.30 p.ci. LONDON, June 29. Stubborn fighting with the natives has taken place in Soothern Nigeria. Daring the action Captain Wayling was slightly wounded. Colonel Rudkin went to the assistance of the troops, but returned to Ogbor after heavy fighting. There were thirteen oasualties.
