The mutiny of engineers and artillerymen at Batoum has been quietly qoelled. It originated in connection with the demand for better treatment. Many Oossaok oorps ask to be relieved of police duty, i DISAFFECTION AMONG THE TROOPS. A REGIMENT REPRIMANDED. IMMENSE SENSATION CAUSED. Received Jane 28, 11.42 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, June 28. \ The a crack regi--2 ment o* guards founded by Peter the t Great, have been reprimanded. This has caused an immense sensation in St. Petersburg, and is gardnd as confirming the reports of disaffection arising out of the mmonred approaching dissolution of . the Duma. The first battalion nas been now ordered to a remote looality in the Novgorod district. Resolutions passed by the regiment included the condemnation of corporal punishment. The Czar is honorary colonel of the regiment, and\jonotantly wears' the regiment's uniform. The Sempovisky regiment, also founded by Peter the Great, is equally disaffected, and has .re* peatedly testified sympathy with the peasants;
