PONGAROA.
(Prom Oar Own Correspondent.) Saturday. The quarterly summoned meeting of Court Pongatoa, No. 8779 A.O. F.,was held in the Town Hall on the 23rd inntant. Bro. J. Mclntyre, C.R.,, presided. Bro. W. Jesson, of the Mauriceville Court was present as visiting District Court delegate, and save a short address which was ranch appreciated. The cileotion of officers for the ensuing sis months resulted as follows: Chief Ranger, Bro. G. T. Norman: Sab-Chief Kanaer, Brb. T. MoKenzle; Senior Woodward, Bro. P. Shadbolt; Junior Woodward, Bro. W. MoCalllster; Senior Beadle, Bro W. Cox; Junior Beadle, Bro. J. Petiersen, Treasurer, Bro. J. D. Milner; Secretary, Bro. P. ft. Kent; Minute Secretary, Bro. J. Ashworth; Auditors, Bros. R. Reed and J. Pflglase. After the business of the Court had concluded a banquet was held at Mrs B. E. Brenten's in honour of the visit of the D.O. Mr P. B. Llgerwood was present at the Court's invitation. A son of Mr Paton, who recently broke his leg, has now broken his arm.
