TE RANGI PAI.
The Te Rangi Pai Concert Company will give, a conoert in t h e Mastorton Town Hall on Thursday evening. In connection with the visit of the Company to a northern town, a contemporary says:—"lt is seldom that concert programmes so attractive as those prepared for the local recitals are placed before the public, every item being picked from an extensive repertoire, while all the artists are in tbe front rank. Mr Handley Wells was apeeiall> engaged by Te JRangi Pai on ber recent tour o f England, and she speaks of him as being one of tbe finest basses beard on the Home concert platform. The re-appear-anne of snob an old favourite as Mr W. B. Cadzow cannot fai' to be acceptable, and reports refer to bis tenor voice as being sweeter than ever. Madame James, a clever pianiste, completes an unusually attractive concert party." The box plan is now open at Mies Rive's.
