When the Masterton Chamber of Commerce met, yesterday afternoon, the Chairman, Mr Donald Donald, moved the following resolution:— "That the Maßterton Chamber of Commerce plaoen on record its sincere sympathy with the family of our late Premier, the Eight Hon. B. J. Seddon, whosa sudden death can only be regarded as a colonial and national calamity. They would also express their appreciation of tne laat great work accomplished by the late Premier in arranging for a reciprocal tariff with our Australian neighbours." Mr Ewington seconded the motion, which waß carried. On the motion of the Chairman, sec onded by Mr Cruickshank, it was then decided to adjourn the meeting for a month out of respect to the memory of the late Premier.
