J. C. WILLIAMSON'S COMIC OPERA COMPANY.
To-night Mr J. O. Williamson's Oomio Opera Company will produce that brilliant and romantio oomio opera "The Gondoliers," by Messrs Gilbert and Sullivan. "The Gondoliers" is one of the most suocessf ul and popular works of Messrs Gilbert aod Sullivan, and in the hands of Mr Williamson's Company should receive a splendid rendering. The Australian critics are most lavish in their praise of play, pluyers, orchestra and ever detail that is essential to the completeness of the production. Mr Williamson's Company numbers over 80 artists, many of whom are reoognised as being at the head of the oporatio profession. Among the leading members are:— Messrs Chaa. Kenningham, Frank Wilson, Howard Vernon, H. Wallace, E. Fitts, Arthur Crane and Walter Whyte, and Misses Dolly Castles, Celia Ghiloni, Aggie Thorn, Vinia de Loitte, Olive Godwin and Blanche Farey. The chorus numbers 50 performers. A full and efficient orchestra is under the baton of Mr Geo. Hill. The box plan is at Hollings'.
