COLLISION IN WELLINGTON HARBOUR.

WELLINGTON, May 29. The Union Company's steamer Tarawera, which loft the Wellington wharf at 5.10 o'clock this afternoon for Napier, collided with the hulk Ooromandel, which the tug Puco was bringing in from the stream to the Glasgow wharf. The Coromaudel struck the Tarawera and tore away one of the top plates on the port side near the forecastle head. The Tarawera returned to the wharf for examination, but as no further damage was apparent she eft again at 6.30 o'clock The Goromaadel is uudamaged.
