At Wellington on Saturday tho! Old Boys beat Oriental by 10 points to 6; Poneke beat Athletio 9to 3; and Melrose beat Petone by 13 points to 3. The whole of the score in the latter match was made up of goals (four penalty goals and one goal from a drop kick). The Senior football competitions at Christohuroh, on Saturday, resulted as follows:—Albion beat Christchurch, 2y to 5; Merivale beat Old Boys, 33 to 3; Sydenham beat Canterbury College, 6 to nil: Linwood beat Kaiapoi. 11 to nil. Tho Senior football n.ntuhes at Dunedin, on Saturday, rosultod: — Alhambia boat Southern, 12 to 11; Kaikorai beat Pirates, 21 to nil; University beat Union, 11 to 3; Dunedin beat Port Chalmers, 8 to 3. Tubirangi boat Martinboroagh on Saturday by 8 points to nil. The following leam will represent the Albion 111., in their match with tho Selwyu Club, at Wellington, on Monday next, and also against a soratoh team on Thursday next on the Masterton showgrounds, at 3 o'clock:—W. Flaws, Dew, Leoks, Digging Holmes, Diguan, Dunn, Logan. Thompsou, Galyer, Bradbury, Miller, Allen. W. Harding, Reeves. Emergencies Forwards, Lynn and Cross; backs, Ball, Hanley, and Scrimgeour. If any of the above players are unable to make the trip to Wellington, they are requested to notify the captain, A. Millor. The team will leave by the 5.30 p.m. train on Saturday.
