ATTEMPTED MURDER.

OHRISTOHUROH, May 28. A boy named Stanley Austin Joseph Suckling was charged at the Police Court, to-day, with attempting to murder a companion named Leslie Fritohard, and was remauded for eight days. It is alleged that accused bad invited Pritohard to accompany him on a cow-sho6ting expedition, and on the latter refusing Suckling shot at him with a pea-rifle. The bullet entered Pritchard's left side, but serious injury is not anticipated.
