A very representative Koyal Commission has been appointed, -with Baron, Monks well as Chairman, to inquire and report on a number of questions relating to the health and Bafety of miners, administration of the Mines Act, and also as to whether certificates of competency granted to managers and undermanagers in the colonies should not, be accepted in Great Britain.
