FATALITY.

MaRTON, May 25. Mr Harold Hammond, age! 27, son of Mr &ichard Hammond, of Ohingaiti, was killed at Hunterville Railway Station last evening. He/ met the evening train to Taihape, and as it was leaving he must have fallen between the oarriages. The passengers In the train felt a bump, and on reaohing the .next station, the guard sent a surfaceman on a jigger to make enquiries. He discovered the body about 30 yards y from the station, shockingly mangled.
