GERMANY.
Received May 24, 11.35 p.m. BERLIN, May 24. Herr Tsoriscohky, the new German Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, speaking in the Reichstag, said that there were strong grounds for believing that German interests would not be affected even if Great Britain and Russia do arrive at an undertanding regarding Asiatic relations. The Triple Alliance, said the speaker, stands a° firm as ever. Italy had recently given explicit assurance to that effect. Herr Tsoristohky added: "Great Britain's welcome to the burgomasters is heartily reciprocated by the German Government and people."
