(From Our Own Correspondent). EKETAHUN A, Wednesday. A lad named Russell met with a serious accident to-day. It appears that a man was riding a bicycle down a hill in front of the polioe station when he collided with Russell. Tho latter had his head severely out and bruised. Dr Ohadwick attended to the injuries, which are considered to be of a serious nature. The residents of Newman will shortly tender a farewell! social to and danue to Miss Avisou, school mistress; who is leaving the district. Mr Fred Fox, who is well-known here, is leaving the district to take up his residence in Masterton.
