Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterion stock sale as follows:—We submitted a yarding nf over J3.000 sheep of all classes, ani notwithstanding the unfavourable weather we quieted over 12,000 of the number offered. Bidding at auotion was somewhat irregular, but all classes of quality found ready Bale immediately on being passed in. Buyers from all outside districts were present, aid of the number of sheep sold nearly half were purchased for other parts. Mr W. Perry's sheep were eagerly competed for, the various lots easily topping the market for this season, his 2-tooth ewes being bought by a Waikato client, the balance being knocked down to purchasers from Manawatu and Rangitikei. The bulk of the yarding of lambs was purchased by a Wanganui buyer, and the best wethers by a client from Waverley, A good yarding of cattle met with better competition than at late sales, and the whole yarding, with the exception of tw i small pens, chanced hands at satisfactory prices.
