SCHOOL COMMITTEES' ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OP MEMBERS. A meeting of the members of the Wairarapa School Committees' Association was held in the Master ton Borough Council Chambers yesterday morning. Mr R. Brown, Chairman ot the Masterton School Committee, presided, and there were ten other members present, i A oode of rules Biuuilar to those of the Dunedin School Gommitees' Association was adopted. Q The next meeting of the Association was fixed for June 6th, ut 11 a.m., in the Borough Council Chambers. The matters set down for discussion at that meeting were:—(l) The question of appointment of teachers; uniformity of school books; (3) the Committees in the Wairarapa to hold their regular meetings on the same hight. The offioers of the Association will be elected at that meeting, and matters pertaining to the Wellington Education Board election in July will probably be disoussed.
