BARGAINS IN LAND.
•'" ■ ' •& 1 It is generally admitted that the safest and most solid investment is farming,Jamd provided the price paid for the land is right, the return is certain. The Hawke's Bay distriot has the reputation for possessing t some of the finest land in the colony, and of late there has been a strong tendenoy on the part of those following agricultural pursuits, to take up land in the province referred to. Cheap farms, especially, are being bought up very readily, and on this account they are very difficult to obtain. In another column of this Issue, however, Mr George B. Wratten, land and estate agent, of Dannovirke, advertises a sheep and dairy property at a price that sbonld not fail to oommand attention. It consists of 700 acres of freehold, is splendidly situated and well watered, the details of which are well worth i perusal. Mr Wratten has numerous other properties on his list, and i anyone desiring information regarding either dairy or sheep farms woulS do well to communicate with him.
