MORRIS-TUBE ASSOCIATION.
FIRST COMPETITION. The first competition in connection with the Masterton Morris-Tube Association was fired in the Drill Ball last evening. Some excellent shooting was done. Mr 11. Brighting secured 34 out of a possible 35 points. The following were the scores:— H. Brighting, sor, 34; O. Wellington, handicap 3, 34; J. Frost, 3, 33; H. Fulton, 3, 32; W. Winslade, sor, 31; J. JWoNabb, sor, 31; J. Allan, scr 31; A. Lewin, sor, 31; J. Henry, sor, 30; A. Dawes, 1, 30; R. J. King, sor, 30; H. Perry, 1, 30; J. Foley, 3, 29; O. Perry, sor, 29; G. Blane, scr, 29; W. D. Ayson, sor, 29; E. J. Booth, sor, 28; W. Burridge, 2, 26; A. Stemoa, scr, 0. In the "shoot-off" between Messrs Brignting and Wellington, the former scored 33 and the latter 29.
