ASSASSINS ESCAPE. A MILITARY PRISON DESTROYED. Received May 2, 10.30 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, May 1. The Chief of Police at Czenstoohowa, ia Poland, was maimed by the explosion of ft bomb. The Chief Gendarme at Lubliu, in Poland, and a police officer at Odeßsa, have been mnrdered. The assassins escaped. It is reported at St. Petersburg that a disciplinary battalion at Sebastopol destroyed a military prison and released 35 of the ringleaders in the mutiny of 1905.
