COONS ENTERTAINMENT.
The entertainment to be given by twenty Masterton ladies, on Friday, May 4th next, in aid of the Masterton Hospital, promises to be a great success, and already the box plan at Mess,ra McLeod and Young's is filling rapidly. Tbe entertainers have been practising assiduously for some time past, and tbe programme to be put forth will provide a certain two hours' amusement in every respeot. Among the items that ace worthy of special mention 9re"liubMe, Do," and the well-known pieoe "Kentucky Babe," with solo and chorus. The three Choruses "Ma Butterfly," "Razors in the Ai"," and "Goo, Goo, Byes," tbe latter piece of which ends in a cake walk, should prove a great feature of the entertainment. The first half of the programme will include a number of fine choruses, songs and danoes. The second half consists of a farcical sketch, . entitled "Boots at the Swan," which is considered among' v the best items on the programme, A, full orchestra, under Mr P. W. G. McLeod, will be in attendance.
