"LIVING LONDON."
The famous living pictures, "Living London," which Messrs J. and N. Tait present at the Town Hall on Friday evening next, for two nights, is remarkable, as showing the perfection to which photography has been brought in the delineation of living objects, says a contemporary. In "Living London" all the rush and turmoil which iH, perhaps, the most distinguishing characteristic in the Empire's oapital is. realistically pourtrayed from the luxurious West End to the slums of Whitochapel—in fact, the whole heart ot London has been photographed, and 280 views carfully selected to give those who have not been fortunate enough to see London what the actual life there today is and for those who have seen the vast centre, old memories will be awakened. In addition to giving "Living London," an interesting combination of other pictures will be reproduced, all of an entirely new and original character, in a humourous as, well as in serious veins. The management explain that absolutely no "faked" pictures are displayed in this exhibition. The box plan and day sales are at Mias A. E. Rives, a matineo will he given on Saturday.
