PHONOGRAPH RECORDS.
Theße selections are sung by the following artists:—Antonio Scotti, Italian baritone; Heinrich Knote, German tenor; AndreasDippel, German tenor; Ancon van Rooy, German baritone; Florenoio Constantino, Italian tenor; Romeo Berii, Italian tenor; Gustave Berl Kesky, Italian baritone; Signora Soarphy Kesky, Italian soprano. Messrs Scotti, Knote, Dippel, Van Rooy and Eeaky are now appearing in prominent roles at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York. Mesara Constantio and Berti are singing in Grand Opera in Europe and will probably be heard in this country in the neur future, The services of these great artists of the Grand Opera world, as will be understood, were obtained at an extraordinary expense. The work of recording was done at the Edison laboratories, where their unrivalled equipment made it possible to secure the most faithfully acpurate and natural reproductions*. Other installments of the reoords will be issued from time to time. With their characteristic enterprise, the Edison Company have decided to meet a longfelt desire of phono users, in supplying the above musical gems. Lovers of true musio in high-class quality will appreciate this effort. On page 3of this paper is detailed the first selection of the above which will come to hand in fourteen days time. Now the winter evenings are approaching, every family should purchase a phonograph. It has manifold advantages; it entertains at all times and never tires; it plays and sings every known voice or instrument, and it is above all invaluable in the way of keeping the family circle intact of an evening. Intending purchasers should not hesitate on the score of finance, as Messrß Dwyer and Co. will arrange easy terms of payment byinstallments for everybody. The public are invited to call and hear the new Edison list for February, at Messrs Dwyer and Co.'e promises.
