EQUITABLE LIFE SOCIETY.
Received April 17, 9.7 p.m. NEW YORK, April 17. Mr Paul Norton. President ot the Equitable Life Scoiuty, states that, although 17,385 policies of the Equitable Society lapsed owing to the recent disclosures, holders are now applying for reinstatement at the rate of 200 daily.
