GEKMANY SYMPATHY. Received April 17, 11.14 p.m. 13EKLIN, April 17. The German Government baa oxpressed deep sympathy with the Italian nation in connection with the Vesuvius misfortune. MUTINY ON PORTUGUESE WARSHIPS. THE VASCO DA GAMA AFFAIR. QUELLED WITHOUT DIFFICULTY. Received April 17, 9.7 p.m. LISBON, April 17. The mutiny on the Vasco da Gama has been resultless. It was quelled without difficulty. The mutiny waa chiefly prompted by sympathy for the mutineers of the Dom Carlos.
