ALGECIRAS CONFERENCE,

LONDON/April 11

In Ihe House of Commons Mr C. Schwann (North Manchester) asked the Government whether the result of the AlgeciraH Conference implied the virtual suppression of the clause in the Anglo-French treaty whioh restricted the economic/ equality of all the Powers in Morocco to thirty years. Sir Edward Grey, Secretary for Foreign Affairs, replied that a mutual engagement between Britain and France under the declaration did nut say that equaliity should cease after thirty years.
