SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Masterton Borough Council, held on the 27th March, 1900, a resolution was passed that in. pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and the acta amending the same, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: 1. That for the purpose of providing the interest sinking fund and other aharges on a loan of £5192 authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above mentioned Act for footpath construction, kerbing, channelling, and improvements the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7-32 of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all unimproved rateable property of the Borough oE Masterton, comprising all that area in the Wellington Land District, situated In the Borough of Masterton, bounded towards the north east generally by the ripht banks of the Waipoua and Ruamahanga Rivers from a point on the said bank of the Waipoua River in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 31, Masterion Small-farm Block, to the middle of the Nursery Road; thence towards the southeast by a line along the middle of the said Nursery Road and its production to the middle of the Kuripuni Crees; thence towards the sooth-west generally by a line along the middle of the said Kuripuni Creek to a in line with the northwestern boundary-line of Section No. 30, Mania Block; thence again towards the south-east by a right line to the northernmost corner of the said Section No. 30, and by the said Section No. 30 to the ncrth-east corner of Section No. 2); thence again towards the south-west by the last-men-tioned section to its northernmost corner ; thence again towards the south-east by said Section No. 29 to the easternmost corner of Section No. 3 of the said Mantua Block; thence again towards the southwest by the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 3 and that boundaryline produced to the middle of the South Road; thence again towards the southeast by a line along the middle of the said South Road to a point in line with the northern side of Junction Road ; thence towards the south- by a right line to and thence by the northern side of Junotion Road, and by the last-mentioned line produced to its intersection by a line along the middle of High Street, (Borough of Masterton); thence towards the northwest by a line along the middle of the said High Street to its intersection by a line ialong the middle of Solway Street; thence again towards the south-west by a right line across Section No. 43.
