THE OPPOSITION.

AUCKLAND, April 5. An Opposition meeting was held at Pukekohe last night to consider the best means of improving the organisation of the party. Mr Massey and a nutnber of Opposition members were present. Mr Massey declared that although beaten at last election the Opposition still had thinking people on their side, and the majority of yoang New Zealanders. He went on to explain the principal plank in the Opposition platform. The Opposition wanted fighters and workers; they were fighting for right, and he believed in the end they would pievail. Other speeohes were made. The meeting was also addressed by Messrs Bollard, Kirkbride and Mander, M.'«H.F. and Bamford, after whioh it was resolved to form a branch of the Political Reform
