BRITISH TROOPS WILL NOT BE ; STATIONED THERE.
Received March 28, 10.2 p.m. LONDON, March 28. Mr R. B. Haldane, Seoretary of War, stated that the Government did not intend to station troops at Weihaiwei. They intend to withdraw the St. Helena Garrison, replacing them in war time.
