The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, advertise opening entries for a sale of stook to be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, at the yards of Mr H. JH. S. Ryder. Langdale. At the Wairarapa Auction Mart, at 2 o'clock to-day, Messrs Hecksher and Co., Ltd., will submit a quantity of new and Beoond-hand furniture, contractors' tools, farm produoe and poultry, also a large assortment of Hawke's Bay fruit. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., advertise that they will hold a sale of stook at the yards of Messrs Dampney Bros,, Rakaunui, on Thursday, 29th March. Entries to date appear elsewhere. At their rooms, Perry Street, at 3 o'olock to-day, Messrs Hecksher and Co., Ltd., will sell twenty-five oil-paintings by Mr, L. Gainsborough. The subjects include a number of excellent views of New Zealand soenery from the North and South Islands.
