RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Thursday men of the Mastertoo Rifle Volunteers were engaged in t<*ophy shooting, at the Opaki Range, yesterday afternoon. The wind was "tricky," and this factor, ooupled with the smoke from bush fires, militated greatly against big scoring. Yesterday's match completed the five trophy matohes, leaving only the final—fifteen snots at 700 yards—to be fired. Following are yesterday's results, ten shots'-be-ing fired at each of the ranges mentioned :
