HOCKEY.
KIA KAHA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Kia Kaha Hookey Club was held last evening, when Mr J. L. Hughes presided over a large attendance of members. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted as read, the latter showing the club to be in a sound financial position. It was deoided to open the seasou on Thursday next. The following officers were elected:-—President, Mr W. H. Jaokson; Vice-Presidents, Messrs B. J. Dolan and F. W. G. MoLeod; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr JR. Anderson; Captain, Mr J. B. Sue; VioeOaptain, Mr A. E. Wilton; Management Committee, Messrs Hooper, Hendry, Olds and P. Truscoft; Match Committee, Messrs Hughes, Wilton and Rue. Pour new members were elected.
