NEW PLYMOUTH SUPREME COURT.

THE DOWIE INCENDIARISM CASE. JURYMEN WARNED. NEW PLYMOUTH, Marob 21. Somewhat of a sensation was caused at the Supreme Court when the luncheon adjournment waß taken. His Honor Justice Edwards said that from something that had oome to his knowledge he felt it necessary to warn the jurymen that they must not discuss the case with other people or representatives of the Crown or otherwise. He should have warned the jury before dismissing them for the night, but had not done so. Something since came to bis knowledge that made it necessary to give a striot injunction to the jurymen.

It is freely rumoured in town that the jury would disagree in the incen'diarism case against McL. Dowie, which is likely to occupy the Court some time yet.
