A TRAGIC AFFAIR.
MAN cuts his throat in A LOOK-UP. THE INQUEST DELAYED. HAMILTON, March 19. A man named James Mills, wtio was arrested at Ngaruawahia oil Saturday, ou a charge of the theft of a watch, was found dead m the police cells there the following morning with his throat cut. Another prisoner in the same cell says that ho know nothing of the tragedy until he awoke in the morning and found Mills lying dead in the cell. The inquesi has oeen delayed until the Chief Detective arrives.
