OPERATIONS AGaINST THE MORO RINGLEADERS. WANTON DESTRUCTION. Eeoeiyed March 14, 8.48 a.m. NEW YORK., Marob 13. General Woods, who helped to supervise the operations by the American troops against the Moro ringleaders, in the Philippines, has assured Mr Taft, American Secretary of War, that there was no wanton destruction during the recent battle. Many women were killed, because they were in male attire, aud the Moros used them as shields.
