ALBIO FOOTBALL CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Albion Football Club was held in the Empire Hotel, on Saturday night. There were abcut twenty members present, and Mr J. Wickeus presided. The report and balancesheet, the latter showing receipts to have been £3O 17s Bd, and expenditure £23 7s Bd, leaving a credit balance of £7 10a, were adopted on the motion of Mr A. Ross. The followng new members were eleoted:—Active Messrs J., Dunn, W. Percy, Geo. Scrimgeour, W. Harding, V. Gray, B. Ellison, C. Price, J. Dignan F. Miller, 0. E. G. Chapman. Honorary Messrs J. Cochrane, S. Sleeman, P. O'Leary. It was unanimously resolved, on the motion of Mr Hogg, that the Club enter a Saturday Senior team for the coming season. Twelve names were handed in of players willing to join the team. The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows: President, Mr C. A. Pownall; VicePresidents, Messrs J. Wiokens, J. Marsh and J. Cress; Captain Saturday team, Mr I. O'Connor; ViceCaptain, Mr A. Ross; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr Frank O'Connor; Hon. Auditor, Mr C. Corbett; Management Commitee, Messrs A. V. Faulknor, J. Wiokens, W. A. Hogg, A. Dawes and W. Minett, Captain and Secretary, ex officio; Senior Selection Committee, Messrs J. Wickens, J. Bradbury, and the Captain.; delegates to Wairarapa Thursday Union, Messrs A. Dawes, W. Minett, B. Chapman and W. Hogg. The eleotion of naptains for the Thursday senior, junior and third-class team was held over until a later meeting. The retiring Secretary was accorded a hearty vote of thanks, and granted a bonus of £5 for his services. It was decided to open the season with a praotice on Thursday next, 15tb instant, and in the meantime matches are to be arranged either at Wellington or Napier for Easter.
