INVERCARGILL, March 8. The cricket match, Melbourne Olub v. Southland, ooricluded to-day in wretched weather, misty rain driving aoross the field of play. On resuming Armstrong added two to his overnight score of 333, and was caught by O'Halloran. Wilkinson was run out when he had made 32, and Laver was bowled for 12. Butler carried ghis bat out for one. The total reached 536. Southland's second innings produced |7B. Poole made 22, McNeece 19, D. Hamilton 14, J. Hamilton 13. Armstrong and Butler bowled, and each took five wickets, for 49 and 25, respectively.
