FIRES AT A CONSTABLE. AUCKLAND, March 7. A sensational arrest of an alleged burglar occurred in the Newton district early this morning. A night watchman, seeing a man and woman in a locked-up shop, oallod Constable Coppell. The pair left the premises aa the officer approached.
