ACCIDENT TO AN M.H.R.

OA MA RU, "February 21. While Mr J. A. Macpherson, M. H.R., was testing a new threshing mill engine, to-day; one of the steam cocks was turned on while Mr Macpherson's face was close to it. The steam blew into his face and eyes. Medical assistance was summoned, and it is not thought there will be any permanent injury to the sight, although Mr Macpherson is suffering considerable pain.
