A "NEW" GEYSER.
WAIMANGU RE-APPEARS. SHOTS 800 FEET HIGH. ROTORUA, February 21. This murning at eight o'clock a new geyser broke out just below the shelter sheds. At. Waimaugu there were four shots, with about a second between each. Water aud black pnnd vv«re. sent about two hundred feet above the shelter sheds. The geyser , played continuously, the volume of water aud mud increasing in height and width. Shots fully eight hundred feet in height were numerous. The spectators have telephoned to say that the sight is magnificent. One of the caretakers' at Vl'aimangu has noticed activity for the past three days, and he informed the tourists yesterday that he had a presentiment there was going to be an eruption, which would break out in the uexfc geyser. The disturbance caused some e;vcitern en t here.
