BRITISH TROOPS KILLED BY FANATICS. Received February 21, 11.13 p.m. LONDON, February 21. Fanatics killed tive British otticers and a company of mounted men at Sokoto. Brigadier General Sir F. D. Lugard, Hign Commissioner at Northern Nigeria, is sending a puni tive expedition.
