DROWNING FATALITY.
WANGANUI, February 18. A youth named Hans Buokeringbam was drowned ia the river this afternoon. He and two others were sailing when their boat ran aground. The boat was pushed off, but upset about sixteen feet from the shore. Buckingham, who was the o6Jy swimmer of the party, started for the shore, but suddenly sank, feet foremost, without uttering a word. The others siung to the boat till rescued. The body has not yet been recovered^
