LOCKED OUT TAILORESSES.
DUNEDIN, February 12. At a meeting of tailoresses alleged to be locked ou>; of three of the largest factories, was held to-day, 50 being present. Proposals were placed before the meeting offering employment in the North Island to all the hands not at work in all branobes. Some twelve girls handed in their names and several others will decide to-morrow, Forty-five members received lock out pay.
