The Nationalist Party, on the re--election of Mr Redmond, resolved that it was unable to enter into an alliance or permanently support any party or Government not making the national self-government of Ireland a cardinal point. LABOUR MEMBERS. THEIR SALARIES A BURDEN. Received February 12, 10.23 p.m. LONDON, Februay 12. The Labour Representation Committee's report deolares that the election of 29 of its candidates necessitates the doubling of the affiliated societies' subscriptions. The burden ought not to be imposed at all, as the party is doing national work, and ought to be paid out of the national funds. EDUCATION BILL. Received February 12, 10.23 p.m. LONDON, February 12. Mr Birrell, speaking ut Halifax, in referring to the Education Bill, said he trusted well-nourished children would be dealt with in a generoqs spirit.
