Raphael, secretary to the New Zealand Cricket Council, has received information from Sir Joseph Ward that the Melbourne Cricket team, now about to tour New Zealand, will be allowed return railway fares at single rates; also that excursion fares will bo allowed to enable the country residents to visit the various oentres where the matches are to be played.
